A few years back I met a dozen times with missionaries and learned more than they wanted me to know about the LDS. They were really nice guys and we enjoyed the interaction. I also knew a very sincere active Mormon. Some of what he did didn't jive with what he said he believed but I suspect we're all like that to some extent. Altho I've wondered how people can possibly accept the history of the church, I've thought their emphasis on family and taking care of others was healthy if a little cultlike. I lost all respect for the Morg, however, with their activity in the Prop 8 fight. Another example of the evils of patriarchy.
